First a quote from Herbert’s editorial in the times that I found particularly thoughtful and sadly true “We might actually pay attention to problems like hunger, homelessness, housing and health costs, if only we could find a way to make them amusing.” Krugman’s editorial on the war and the 9/11 investigation is, as always, worth a read.

In lighter news sony has invented a robot capable of running, which from the articles I’ve read seems to be quite a feat. You can get the video here.
