I’ve got about $25K, which is just about average, and I draw KK in the BB. Nice. first position folds, second calls ($1K), and third raises all-in short-stacked. Fold around to me, and I re-raise the pot (which puts me all-in) to ensure that I’m heads-up against the raiser.

8 spades plus the two kings = 10, no? This may have been hasty, but I think it’s correct.
How humiliating. This is even more embarassing than the time I figured the odds of certain cards falling after the flop in Omaha by assuming 35 cards left in the deck (Ugarte politely corrected me that time, too). Yes, as Ugarte correctly points out, there are 13 (not 12) spades in each deck, thus giving me 10 outs, not 9.
Jeremy, does this retroactively qualify me for the Great Pokertracker Giveaway?
Methinks the Signor needs to update his prescription.
Is this real money?
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
What Ugarte means, Dawn, is no. It is “play money”. In this particular instance, I paid $5.25 for $2000 in “play money” in the hopes of placing in the top 3 and winning anywhere from $100 to $300. Thanks to that jackass with AJo, I placed 9th, and lost my buy-in.
Thanks for the Ugarte to English translation!
calls two all-ins behind him with AJ, eh? yikes. I hate those people when they catch (and love em when they don’t).
