Two songs are as timely today as they were when they first achieved popularity.  I urge you to listen to them again (or for the first time), and think about what that means (and, of course, share your thoughts with us here at Rick’s.

I just stumbled across your suggestions about what to listen too. Both good, but I’ll add another. Monster by Steppenwolf, particularly Suicide. I heard it for the first time in a coon’s age about a year ago and it almost made me cry. The lyrics seem even more true now then they did when it was written In case you’ve forgotten, here’s an excerpt:
