I lost my virginity this afternoon. It lasted 5 hours, and I earned $55.

Whatever you thought you did, you didn’t do. There is no post here, my friend.
Wow. A $3 rake bet from the button? That’s terrible. That means, per hour, you’re paying anywhere from $9 to $12 in rake/time (whatever you want to call it). In a 3/6 game, that is HUGE.
Welcome to California low-limit holdem.
I’m slightly confused...does the $3 big blind button post go straight to the casino, but it still counts as if the button has “bet”? However, you said the pots odds are higher, so that seems to indicate the money stays in the pot, except you said the casino doesn’t take a rake, so I am trying to figure out where the casino makes $$?!?
I found the post by scrolling down. I don’t know if the problem is my browser or the coding.
I’m with SF. How much of the button-blind goes to the house? If all of it does, why would it increase the number of callers? Implied odds?
Ugarte, is your comment existential in nature?
Sorry Signor, I misspoke. Generally, it goes directly to the casino. However, if you miss the button because you are away from the table, when you come back and post it it goes into the pot. So only in those cases does it affect the odds.
Oh, I have that problem too. I don’t know why. I’ll try to fix it today.
