My prediction is that John Edwards will finish no worse than 2nd in Iowa today and that this will eventually propel him to the Democratic nomination. Putting myself a little less on a limb, I predict that Gephardt’s campaign will effectively end after a disappointing performance in Iowa; Kerry will get a big boost and there will essentially be four players in New Hampshire and beyond, Kerry, Dean, Edwards and Clark.

Although that was nice and good, but Bush is going to win anyway!
I think Edwards will have a very good shot at beating Bush. However, whether Bush wins or loses will also depend on factors outside of Edwards’ control and I am not all seeing—hence no prediction (yet) on who wins come November.
What you think and what’s going to happen appear to be two very different things!
“June,” if you are so fond of my predictions, you should check out the even more detailed ones in the post above.
Perhaps friendly wager or two is in order.
Hmm...a friendly wager...I am going to have to admit that I’m not fully informed on the political views that Kerry and Edwards are taking nor do I have a strong feeling for what the voters are deeming important this year. However, I’m willing to challenge you to poker?
