Here is the short version: 65 people turned out to Stand-Up NY to see me last night at the Funniest Lawyer contest. I won. First prize was a $100 gift certificate at Circuit City and paid weekend dates at the club. The former is nice; the latter is mind boggling. I figured it would be months before I got a paid gig.
Thanks to everyone who came out. I’ll post a longer entry when I wake up.
