Anybody can smell BS, including Bush’s and AX’s. AX criticizes Bush for claiming to have eliminated WMDs (which Bush never claimed) but then asks how Bush could have eliminated WMDs that “don’t exist.” AX’s belief they “don’t exist” is more optimistic than Bush’s belief that the threat from WMDs (what Bush actually claimed) was eliminated (which is still BS).
Not even Hans Blix doubts that the WMDs existed, and no rational person would assume they’ve truly been eliminated. And if AX really dislikes lying he should quit.
