Behold the awesome power of Jon Stewart!

CNN cancels Crossfire

"I think [Stewart] made a good point about the noise level of these types of shows, which does nothing to illuminate the issues of the day,” [CNN/US President] Jonathan Klein said in an interview. Viewers need “useful” information in a dangerous world, he said, “and a bunch of guys screaming at each other simply doesn’t accomplish that."

Unfortunately Tucker Carlson isn’t going down with the ship. He jumped to MSNBC yesterday.

I’m not a fan at all of Tucker Carlson but Klein’s comments on this whole thing are really gross.  I see CNN only lose more of the market share under him.

I agree with you, Karol. I read more of Klein’s comments at Kausfiles and the guy sounds like a self-promoting jerk.

It also sounds like Carlson didn’t jump from CNN, he was pushed. In light of Klein’s jerkitude I’m actually glad he landed on his feet. I hope that he has the freedom to make his new show worth watching.
