Generally speaking, despite the City’s reputation, I find most of the people in NYC to be pretty nice/helpful when treated with respect or asked nicely. Every once in awhile, however, one is reminded why NYC has its reputation. [b][/b]

I fail to see what makes this quintessential New York. He was an asshole - but certainly not a bigger asshole than I’ve dealt with in countless cities and towns across the world, much less the country.
