Count me as the umpteenth person to comment on the Yankees’ trade for Alex Rodriguez.
Just as I felt about the Rangers’ failed trade for Manny Ramirez, the Rangers are being outsmarted again. I would certainly understand if the fine citizens of Texas got together to hang Tom Hicks by his nuts from the spire on the Adolphus.

I was a Yankee fan first. My parents took me to Yankee games because of the Dellwood promotion. But my first Little League team was called the Pirates. And the next year was “We Are Family,” 1890’s style caps and Pops Stargell taking the team to the 1979 World Series.
I’ve never looked back.
