Ugarte's Poker Grovel #26, or Locked Tight
This Monday saw a return, after a one week hiatus, of the weekly game at the Blue Parrot. But Ferrari announced a twist for this week’s game. was a twist. Instead of our typical low limit ring game, Ferrari held a $100 buy-in, no rebuys no limit hold ‘em tournament. Because we have delusions of grandeur, (almost) all of the regulars joined in.
I should have taken notes, of course. But I guess I remember enough. Get yourself a drink, because this gets long.
Great grovel, as always. I think the $100 vs. 10,000T actually threw me for a loop, though, and while I don’t think winning back your buy-in counts as “in the money”, losing it again in the side game definitely disqualifies you.

Nice. Good to read up on how things went after I got busted out. BTW, I’m definitely UP (in the Monday games) since I joined the game at the Blue Parrot… I lost all my Monday winnings and Party Poker winnings in Vegas. But I’m ready to build my depleted bankroll back up this summer.
Don’t forget, I placed 12th out of 312 in the satellite for the WPT Championships at the Bellagio… and I had to win a multi super staellite (110+) to get that seat in the first place. You left my only highlight off your writeup.

I agree, Pauly. I was referring to Christian’s losses.
If I put your highlights into my grovels, who would read the Tao? ;)

Ok cool. I realized that when I reread your Christian bashing…
Next time. Good job once again.

It’s nice to see a writeup of the night’s action. Thanks for the game, Ferrari’s is always a pleasure to play in.
To know that Coach had me as the second favorite and Ferrari as the favorite is a flattering. Ugarte is a player, watch out.

I guess 34th doesn’t count?
