JJ is a tough hand in low-limit HE, for precisely the reason you described—it’s very difficult to fold people. I’d almost rather have JJ UTG (when I can raise early and at least HOPE that people will fold) rather than in late position, where I know all a raise is going to do is build the pot and give the fish even more reason to chase to the river. “Good players see a strong hand; bad players see a big pot.”
