No Longer Novel

Last night I performed at the New York Comedy Club to a full house - that included only three people there to see me.  I probably could have called on people if I needed more support, but I only needed three.  I mention the turnout only to note that while I could draw over 60 at the very, very beginning, my pals have probably already started to get annoyed at the notion of a needy friend.

It probably doesn’t help that while my friends think it is fun to see me on stage (even if I suck, watching the train wreck is its own reward), they often have to endure a lot of bad comedy from strangers just for the privilege.  Last night would have been a good show to go to, though.

I am currently living vicariously through your stand-up adventures.  Keep it up. (just doubled up with AA)

I enjoy reading about the stand-up life.

At first I thought this was going to be a post about Knickers.

Bob, the first thing I learned is that you just have to get out there.  I encourage you to find an open mic in your town and just do it.  Glad to hear that someone is reading.
