The New York Times reported this morning that the White House has provided documentary evidence that President Bush completed his National Guard service during the Vietnam War. But the Times reports that some Democrats, including Terry McAuliffe (shock!) just won’t let it go.

I think there might still be questions about whether he got special treatment while at the National Guard and has essentially been covering that up.
I do agree that it is not a point to beat into the ground, but I read its recent traction as a bit of sign that the Bush veneer is crumbling and I hope it is a stepping stone to more outspoken criticism for serious things.
