He looks fabulous!
I suppose now that I have a blog I am supposed to comment on colossal events like the capture of Saddam Hussein. OK: Cool! That’s enough of that.
I received the news by phone early Sunday morning and immediately turned on CNN. I was still on the phone, so I watch 15 minutes of video before I got to hear any of the reporting. It looked strange - almost like the promo for an episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The meticulous inspection of Saddam’s hair for lice made the guy from the U.S. medical team look like Kyan telling Saddam that he should “Work the product in from back to front.” And the side-by-side juxtaposition of the raggedy, spider-hole Saddam with the presidential Saddam looked like the before and after of a makeover infomercial.
Blah blah, blah...CNN news sux. So what’s new? ABCNBCCBSFOX were just as bad or worse. Mainsream media habitually hype news stories way over the top (preferrably bad news, but even good news will do in a pinch). Did you expect something as huge as this to fare better?
Watch mainstream news to make yourself sleepy before bed. Read blogs and take lots of salt to get informed.
Mmmm...must,,,make...coffee.

Wow, Danny. You would think I had singled out FOXNEWS. Low expectations are not a reason to withhold criticism.

Yeah, I agree...hence my post.
BTW, The Weather Channel covers the local weather on the eights.

To everyone but Danny (actually, even including Danny): Feel free to ignore this:
Unfortunately, local weather wasn’t what I needed (though I appreciate the tip). I needed the weather in NYC; I could see the local weather from my hotel room.
