It seems that someone has beaten us to our retirement plans by opening a Rick’s Cafe in Casablanca. But she apparently decided that perhaps “Americain” isn’t the best thing to be these days.

Attacking Kathy Kriger for not including
“American” in the title of her cafe is pointless; if you read articles about her, other than the scratching the surface CNN article, you’ll see she gushes about how pro-American most Moroccans are. Seeing as she spent part of her life working for the U.S. government in Morocco, I’d say you are barking up the wrong tree. Thanks for the link to the article, Brian, but we were just goofing around - not really riding Kathy for a lack of patriotism.
The owner of the joint seems pretty cool. She wrote to us when she saw the blog entry. While we plan on exchanging links when they get their website up, I am hoping to finagle an invitation to the place.
