This week, our task as judges was to pick a random post from each blog and give it a 1-10 ranking. I chose the last (substantive) post on each blog’s front page (note to future pretenders—it won’t be the last post next time around). Here’s what I found:

Thanks for the score...my time permalink has never worked (to which wizbang gave much attention), and I only very recently received good code advice on working permalinks...I haven’t taken any time to tidy up my code....just another on the 2K4 ‘to do’ list.

I don’t think that a guy who posts maybe once a month, should be rated on the same scale as bloggers who publish more frequently.
