I’m hitting the ground stumbling here, so I may screw this up, but here are my rulings on what I think are this week’s blogs:

Jeez.  Yes, the pictures in the banner are me.  No, I have not and never will dot my i’s with hearts, smiley faces, or any such thing.  My background is pink because I have an aversion to that color (and all its subliminal references) and am trying to get over it.  I’d be the last person you’d call a “girly girl” if you met me in person.  I’m sorry if I couldn’t convey that to you.

Just dropped in.  The error you saw was a stray process that occured from my hosting service’s SQL server, through no fault of my own.  Took them a while to fix it too.  One hopes you didnt penalize me because of something that was beyond my control. 

As for the Crusades reference, in light of the Scriptural commandment to love our enemies, would you say they were just following their Christian beliefs?  Don’t confuse biblical Christianity with organized religion, as most people are apt to do. 

To be honest, I did take points off for the error.  It would be best if contestants read the judge’s posts before the end of each round, so things like that can be cleared up.  As for the Crusades reference, I was not confusing biblical Christianity with organized religion.  I was (like you) talking about the way in which Christianity has been spread.
